Sandy Leibow

Sandy Leibow has focused her recruiting career on lateral partner placements, group acquisitions, and law firm mergers. Sandy has the unique distinction of her first placement being the merger of two AmLaw 200 firms.

Sandy began her legal career as a corporate associate at Finley, Kumble, where she focused on defense contract work for the Israeli Air Force. After working at Finley Kumble for five years, Sandy moved to Toronto with her husband and two young daughters. They returned to Manhattan twelve years later where Sandy resumed her legal career, developing an expertise in outsourcing at Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal (now SNR Dentons), and then in intellectual property and technology transactional work at Squadron Ellenoff, later Hogan & Hartson. While at Hogan & Hartson, Sandy did pro bono work for Human Rights First.

Prior to forming The Leibow Jawin Group, Sandy was a key member of the partner recruiting team at E.P. Dine, Inc.

Sandy received her B.A. from New York University; and J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she was a member of the Law Review.
